Other than Ulysses Club Inc. Australia, at this time there are Ulysses Clubs in New Zealand, Vietnam, South Africa, Norway, United Kingdom, Zimbabwe, Holland and Germany. There are listed on the Ulysses International page with links to their web sites where you can discover more information about these Clubs.
If you are in one of these countries, please contact the Ulysses Club in your country for information regarding membership of that Club.
As a member of any of the Ulysses Clubs, you will be welcome to visit any of the other Ulysses Clubs. Just contact the Club you intend to visit via the email link, list your details and approximate itinerary. Your membership will be verified with your home Club and you will be made welcome when you contact the Club you wish to visit. You will have a riding and social network.
For instance, if you wish to come to Australia, you will have over 27,000 friends and over 130 branches where you can visit them, all around the land.
Ulysses Club Inc. (Australia) offers Australian membership to International Residents. The membership application form is available HERE. Being a member of Ulysses Club Inc. (Australia) has many benefits (as mentioned above).
Members receive the Club Journal ‘Riding On’; this contains reviews of some of the new motorcycles, reports from members of their trips, both within Australia and abroad. For instance, the February 2011 issue of the journal has reports of riding trips in East Timor, Eastern Europe, Japan and the ‘Road of Bones’ in Russia.
International Residents who have membership with Ulysses Club Inc. (Australia) can register to have access to the Ulysses Club Inc. (Australia) website. This will allow members to use the Notice Board and / or the Discussion Forum to request information about an intended trip, or to purchase Club merchandise. There are links on the website to the Australian Branches and to the International Clubs. Australian Club documents are available to read and print. These include the Club Constitution and the Guidebook for Members.
International Members can register to attend the annual week-long event surrounding the Club’s Annual General Meeting. This event takes place in a different part of Australia each year. Can you imagine, a few years ago in Coffs Harbour, a town in the State of New South Wales; we had over 6,100 members attend the event. There were some tall stories told on that week. The event includes test rides on some of the new machines, Trade Displays, entertainment and dinners. Magnificent!
